During the weekend we stayed in a wonderful camping spot called La Mola, located in the village of Espot. The campground was really nice and well organized. It had lot of facilities, such as a nice pool, a playroom and a tennis court. All the facilities were clean, the camping pitches were big a with great views. We arrived at night so we decided to stay at the campsite.

With the intention of doing some spectacular trekking, we moved to the vilage of Esterri d’Áneu early in the morning, it took us half an hour driving. Once we arrived, we started an excursion to Gerber lakes.

During the excursion we could see some different incredibly beautiful lakes. It took us 3 and a half hours to explore. Besides, the views were amazing.

In the evening we moved to the center of the village to have lunch. We picked a typical restaurant called Els Cremalls. It was a small and nice restaurant located in the middle of the main street. Above all, the food there was absolutely delicious.

The following day we left the camping area. After that we moved to Llavorsí, half an hour away from Espot. It was a really small, quaint village. We had breakfast there and took a walk throught its charming streets.

After this, we went to La Seu d’Urgell. Incidentally, they were celebrating the local festival of the city. For that reason, there were many people that weekend, which was nice to see. They organized some concerts and typical catalan traditions, such as the castellers. It consists of making a human tower, standing on the shoulders of one another in a succession of stages. Moreover there was a flea market with lot of local products, such as homemade jam or olive oil.
