Hi everyone, today I am going to explain what a typical day is like in Gracia. This neighborhood is filled with small coffee shops, clothing stores, and countless other beautiful scenery along the 19th century streets.
Every street contains some color or art such as murals, architecture, and even the shops.
Gracia is definitely a good destination to go if you want to get away from the crowded center of the city. While Gracia is by no means small, it just feels more peaceful than the center of Barcelona.
Parc de la Creueta del Coll
If you want to have a nice picnic with your family, I would recommend the Parc de la Creueta del Coll. The park was created from an abandoned quarry as part of the new urbanism developments for the 1922 Summer Olympic. This park is perfect for a walk or a picnic in the sun.
Markets
If you want to visit a market to buy fresh produce, then I would highly recommend Mercat de la Llibertat or the L’Abaceria Market. Both contain an incredible amount of fresh produce. Perfect for if you need specific ingredients for a recipe, or if you just want a nice snack.
Park Guell
Filled with beautiful architecture and color, Park Guell is a must for a beautiful day of sightseeing. The park is a World Heritage Site designed by Antoni Gaudi. This park was originally built for the affluent families of the neighbourhood, but has since become a public park. The park contains stunning architecture and the exquisite use of tiles on several works throughout the park

I think you have a lot of stuff to do around this neighborhood, a day in Gracia it’s not enough to see it all!
